At Space Studio Home, we want you to be completely happy with your new furniture. But if something’s not quite right, we’re here to make the return process as easy and hassle-free as possible.
Changed Your Mind?
No worries—you have 14 days from the date of delivery to return an item. Simply email us and we’ll guide you through the next steps.
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused and in their original condition
- No assembly or installation must have taken place
- All original packaging must be included and intact
Please note: While we’d love to offer free returns, our commitment to fair pricing means we’re unable to cover return shipping costs. That said, we can organise a collection via our trusted specialist couriers—ensuring your item is safely returned without damage.
Return collection fees typically range between £10 and £80, depending on the item’s size, weight, and your location. For oversized, heavy, or fragile items, return costs may be approximately 10% of the item’s value.
Prefer to organise your own return? That’s absolutely fine—just be sure to use a courier that provides insurance against loss or damage, as we’re unable to offer refunds for items returned in less than perfect condition.
Before Sending Your Return
- Take clear photographs of both the item and its packaging before sending it back
- These photos help support your return in case any issues arise during inspection
Faulty or Damaged on Arrival?
We thoroughly check all items before dispatch, but on rare occasions, a product may arrive with damage or a manufacturing fault.
If that happens:
- Inspect your item as soon as it’s delivered
- Notify us within 48 hours of any damage, faults, or missing parts
- Provide a detailed description and clear photos showing the issue
Please hold onto the item and all its original packaging while we assess the situation. Based on the issue, we may:
- Send a furniture technician to repair the item
- Offer a replacement
- Arrange a collection and refund if repair or replacement isn’t possible

Upon receiving your items, your order must be checked to ensure there has been no damage in transit. All faults or damages must be reported within 24hrs of receiving the product. You must send an image of the reported issues and we will endeavour to resolve the issue for you. This may require additional investigation with our suppliers and couriers, so we appreciate your patience.
